Last night went to New York starhill there and stayed (Royale Bintang Hotel XD) there for one night , because want to make our June baby ( she is kind of expensive =="",have to say that she is really really expensive ) HAPPY ,YES!! just to make her HAPPY and SURPRISE !! the least thing that i felt so boring is ~~~~~she never feel touched and cry like moon river +___+""

Of course before go to to check in hotel, we went to eat Tenji ( wonder New York will really have Tenji or not =="" ) so~~~~our wallet burn a big hole, hmm~~~~~yes ,indeed a real big hole,i have to plan how many breakfast and dinner meal i have to skip already hahahahaha ^^ or is there any other jobs that can earn really fast income??? ( pls don't introduce me some nonsense jobs like duck, kill people or sell drugs things~~~am not like it..... )

Pain yet Enjoyable

I have a really really crazy week, back to hometown for few days. Then after come back to PJ straightly join my friends to watch 2 movies which are “Shutter Island” and “Date Night”. Then, Saturday (which mean yesterday =. =) I go to watch 2 movies alone (plan to ask my friends to join me, but didn’t ask them in the end, cause some of them are busy, some of them really spend a lot for their material or printing stuffs, and impossible to ask friends who stay far away to watch together.) 1 week watch 4 movies……….hmm…….should be fine, right?

[Shutter Island] ==> EXCELLENT!! For a person like me who prefer mystery, twist and turn kind of storyline, this is a real A+ movie, actually this movie share certain elements with some other movies that I watched before. For example, “The Passenger” and “The Perfect Getaway” is some movies that I feel interesting as well, maybe these kind of movies don’t have much……how to say…..emotionally makes you feel high or low. But the storyline could be the selling points, “The Passenger” and “The Perfect Getaway” is really not that good, certain part of storyline seems like very rush or didn’t explain properly…. (honestly =.=….), but the directors also doing their best, so the effort should be appreciated.

[Date Night] ==> FUNNY!! For a person like me who prefer love, romantic, comedy. This is really some real good entertainment, but I do advice people who haven’t watch this movie (especially those pure minded people), this movie have some certain yellow jokes or conversations or fault languages inside that might lame you out. But please focus in their (actors) facial expression, IS REALLY REALLY FUNNY!! In the cinema, me and my friends laughing like no others, fortunately other audiences also laugh very loud, if not I will chase out by them ^^””

[Kaiji] ==> MAGNIFICENT!! For a person like me who prefer inspiring, motivation, courage yet puzzles (cause it involve some games) kind of storyline. This movie trying to send out a lot of message about reality, well~~~we already know society will conclude some cruel or oppress human being things , but human being still trying their best to live their live to fullness, this is the challenge and interesting part of LIFE, it always have negative and positive things occur on human being. A lot of people cannot survive cause they always think that parents will babysitter them, society will protect their own rights, they always for someone or something that is good to them, when face some problems, the things that they only can do is either complain or give up. WHAT A SAD~~~~T_T. So the main character, Kaiji trying his best to run out from this cruelty “Rat Race Game”. His Faith and Intelligent turn impossible to hope. BUT I BELIEVE ORIGINAL COMIC WILL BE FAR MORE BETTER THAN MOVIE ^^. Next time need to download and have a look, hehe.

[Clash of the Titans] ==> MARVELOUS!! For a person like me who prefer legendary, myth, fictional or fantasy genre. The outstanding motion graphic, speechless beauties (I am giving compliment ^^, those actresses very good looking.) Storyline is not that big deal, I didn’t put much expectation with storyline before I watch this, I just want see how it flow and how’s the overall environment setting combine with graphic elements. It didn’t disappoint me ^^, very good!

Feel pain because spend a lot in movies fees; feel happy because I really enjoy all these 4 movies. This year birthday’s target: ask different group of my friends accompany me watch movies (ask them treat me as well, wahahahaha, different groups treat me in different movies ^^, I am sure they will kill me, hehehe) watch 5-6 movies (include lunch and dinner) in ONE day, 9-10 hours of duration in movie, WHAT A RECORD TO MYSELF, hahahahaha!!

Wednesday is Killing me~~~

Wednesday is not only my offline day, but also a tiring day hahahahaha ^^ i purposely go to Center Point, YAMAHA (1st floor) there and ask Aenon which cleaner is the best to clean floor one, SHE SHOW ME SOME REALLY FUNNY EXPRESSION,which is "FAINT + SWEAT + LAME",she said that :" i thought what happen to u,looks so anxious and rush!!!and purposely come up to ask this nonsense question!!" i also speechless,just smile + laugh at there,but she still answer me,so is fine ^^

Then i start to clean the floor, room and toilet from 7pm, i thought can finish it real fast one~~~~~but when i decided to clean another place,which is kitchen.............IT TOOK VERY VERY LONG............................until i work work work till to 10.30pm something T________T only can finish all my works isk isk isk,the cleaner for the floor that i just bought on that day as well also GONE HALF,HALFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF!!OMG!!!

I am already feeling sleepy + still have to work like hell to clean my house ^^"" after doing all the cleaning stuff ,feeling sweaty and not so sleepy anymore,which is fine,but another problem come out.............hungry~~~~~~so after bath i took my dinner at 12am something ,WHAT A BLESSFUL DAY wahahahahahahaha ^^

Today woke up knew that have to celebrate Mr Ben's birthday (actually is sudden in call from wai hong,cause i keep the classroom key and forget to return it back =.= so forgetful...........),anyway........heidy prepare one celebration card and let us write some regards to Mr Ben,then wai hong go to Secret Recipe buy the Brownie Cake (don't know is it the real actual name or not). And my task is..........as usual....OLD TRICK,tell some lies to Mr Ben,just said have some problems with my project need to ask him enter the class to show my works sort of things.AND THEN BOOM!!......."happy birthday to ............." Well guess after singing song,making wish,cut cake,eat cake....took photos is some MUST ROUTINE ( this is what heidy think....but is nice as well ^^ )

Cause Mr Ben also have some appointment with somebody else,so after finish taking pictures he feel appreciated and go to join his pals as well ^^. and then, for our lunch,we went to The Curve??a restaurant which call "Marche", tuesday lunchset is Lamb Steak + Meshed Potato with Ice Lemon Juice, quite nice ^^ after finish having that nice lunch,i feeling very very very sleepy~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~=.= when they want to go IKEA walk around,i still fine with that.

Here comes the problems,when they starting to talk some funny things,making some designers' discussion or chit-chat....I AM THE ONLY ONE WHO REMAIN SILENT + OFFLINE,it's just like "............................................................." , they already found me got a bit of not right there,so they also ask whether i am ok or not...so i like smile + silent (perhaps i did told them i am fine.) After finish watching all those fancy interior decoration and furniture, we just went to IKEA food court there and have some drinks.Whole conversation really appreciate Heidy can chit-chat a lot ,and entertain all of us ^^"" HOPE THIS KIND OF OFFLINE MODE WILL HAPPEN NO MORE ^^"" SO SWEATTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT.......

A day in Pavilion

Well......today wake up quiet late,guess don't have to work on any assignments yet, so my body and soul ask me to sleep longer ^^"". Wake up at 1pm something, decided to shot some pictures at Pavilion. Actually is for my previous Retail Environment project,sweat =.=""

And yes,just skip my lunch and go to to Pavilion.Cause need to shot my things as fast as possible,then just went to a Cheongsam shop which name "ShangHai Tan".It sold some sort of classical cheongsam and watches things. It's very troublesome cannot just shot whatever i want in the shop,wish to punch all of them and make them faint for 1 hours so that i get do my things =.= haiz...................

After finish shooting whatever i want (shot it secretly......),since still have time then i just go and walk around and think of my dinner as well,end up eating some normal factory stuffs at there,boring restaurant,boring foods with boring time. Next time i will go enter other restaurants other than this one (NEXT TIME DON'T EVER EVER ENTER A CHINESE RESTAURANTS WITH FOREGINERS CHEFS,isk isk isk!!!).

Fortunately, today also is a blessful day,cause is Forever 21's Spring & Summer Fashion Show,it's start at 7pm,since i have time then i just go to have a look, the lucky thing is i know nothing about Forever 21 but still get invited by them and can sit on their VVIP seat,am so lucky!!!!D**** hahahahahahaha!! By the way,saw a lot of pro photographers using a lot of high-end yet heavy DSLR camera to shot some nice things out,i think i am the only one who use normal compact digital cam to shot those models hahaha !!Aim for 1 HP, 1 DC and 1 DSLR camera GAMBATEH!!!!

I did listen to this same stories from few people,house owner sneak into other people's rooms,bla bla bla......i mean WTF!!! Last time is at student house,no matter guys or girls' rooms, those stupid management people just take the key and open the doors without any consideration,OMG!!!

Another time again just happend on my sister there ~~~that one much more worst,just because of the stupid refrigerator,those management people can lock sister's door just because of the stupid RM20, i mean what happen to u guys!!??? u don't have money to yum cha or what??or the college going to bankrupt??

Third time,and again....that old witch..no....is a creature.....sneak in to my friend's room, i can't see the point there,is people pay u money to let u sneak in their own privacy space?Same thing go to situation of my sis and student house's people, people might have their own precious or privacy stuff that don't wish to let anyone know(even though don't have doesn't mean that u can go in as well,can u take the responsibility later??NO!!U CANNOT!!),HOW COULD U DO THAT TO THEM!!i just celebrate for my old friend,that when go back have to bad mood again,i totally speechless!!

Birthday Celebration

Today i ask my old friend out(know her since from 13 years old). Because wants to celebrate with her earlier, again i know a lot of friend will celebrate with her,so not to ruin their friends' plan, i try to make it earlier (her birthday is on 10 Dec,YES!!and soon she is going turn to 21).

Unfortunately,today is Hari Raya Haji, a lot of people can rest and a lot of people take this chance to come out and go to shopping,is ok to let them shopping (although i don't like shopping mall contain a lot of people, make whole space very limit, but what can i do....haiz...)

So,so,so...those rapid bus also can't come on time to her place (because public holiday,a lot of bus driver might off day or they will take longer time to go each areas and fetch customers.) So both of were late. We plan to reach Time Square at 11.30am, BUT...haiz...when we reach there already 1.30p.m something. Actually, i want to watch twilight with her, but today is just so full of people,OMG!!!OMG!!OMG!!!i can't how many people are queue up there and buying ticket,so in the end we give up,haiz.....

Then whole day kind of fun as well,went to Time Square,Sungai Wang,Pavilian these three places to shop and eat.

After rest for few days, it's time to battle and face some new challenges. GD students are lot more "lucky" at these current briefs, there will be character design "Tiger Print", "Sequence 10", "Paper Engineering", "Music rpm" and "Magazine Design".

I guess Sequence 2010 is very big challenge for me, but is also the path that i should take. (a lot of good competitors, emphasize in time management, and idea developments.)

These few days have read some of my friends' blogs, suddenly few of them become so stressful and sentimental then previous terms before (fortunately didn't affect by their sentimentalism's feeling ), personally hope that people who read this article can cheer up.

1. For people who feel that if this year 3's life is the path that ending our relationship, i can tell u really honestly, keep contact to each other regularly doesn't mean that it can enhanced the friendship (the situation could turn to like sending friendship's SMS, but at least they still keep the warmness and interaction between each other, this is what i always appreciate.Less is better then None) Not to feel sad or lonely as well, if some friends didn't contact to you automatically, bear in mind that some people even didn't stick together 24 hours also can maintain their good relationship.

2. For people who already started to worry their future or their own study's result.(for some perfectionists this advice maybe not that effective, but i still hope they will really think about this and take this advice into consideration.) Always remember the purpose why you choose this path, if this realistic world or different hard challenges always take you down, you have to stand up again and again, you are lucky if somebody will give you a hand, if none of them can't help you , it's normal......(i guess this is some really rare occasion, because you will have family, friends or lover who can stand by your side.)......please stand up and fight again. (I don't care you are fight for love, money, dream or honor, if you wants it then u have to fight for it.)

Facebook is a Trend or a Disaster??

One of my classmate, Edvince is promoting some awareness through to poster, Project brief is "Defending the Indefensible", and Edvince is sending the message that don't put too much time and personal info into FB. (He did tell me the reason already, but lazy to mention here.)

I guess even i don't tell the reason people also know what is the risk behind, there are a lot of video clips and articles tell about FB's pros and cons. Just go to Google it, tons of things will come out. FB is just one of the extensions that come from one main issue, Internet.

For N-Generation nowadays (N-Generation = Net Generation,people who live in the world wide web), they will surf net and surf to different website. What i am curious about is how many people can tolerate (not said tolerate, but cannot use at all, mine is special case sometimes) didn't use internet for how many days?? How many people can live without Internet??

Now my daily lifestyle is like doing my project and dissertation, come back from college then check mail, FB, Design's tutorials and articles websites, Stalk people's blog and doing research for assignment usage. I also kind of curious why me myself will get addicted to FB.

Here come some testimonials (impossible to ask people to not use internet at all,this is way too much and really really impossible.), HOW MANY DAYS YOU CAN STAND/LIVE WITHOUT USING FACEBOOK AT ALL?(what i mean is not even log in....or type www.facebook.com)

Just watch the rehearsal music documentary movie by Michael Jackson "This Is It". I am watching alone (cause no one likes MJ, i mean among my friends...they are kind of weird..anyway..is ok,cannot force people to do something they don't like,hoho ^0^) at One Utama, since this is the rehearsal concert by MJ, i didn't put very high expectation on him.well, first of all, he is already 50 years old, his situation is like......cannot as bombastic as when is MJ is in younger age, secondly, he needs to keep his "voice" for the real performance. (In this movie,MJ keep on mentioned that he need to protect his voice.Don't know is true or not....) I would rate this movie 6 out of 10.

If people who really want to watch this movie, pls i mean pls don't think or expect this is a "real concert", it won't perform the whole full song for u, MJ just like stop for a while and start to perform the song again,for some people, this is really kind of annoy. For me i am ok with it. Through to whole movie, i predict 4 songs will definitely come out, which is "Thriller", "Beat It", "Bilie Jeans" and "You Are Not Alone", previous 3 songs did come out , but i miss this MJ's "You Are Not Alone", i thought he will sing this song as well, but end up he didn't , i really don't get it,i mean this is one of his famous song, is a big lost for me if he didn't perform this song.(You Are Not Alone is my personal favorite.....)haiz.....

Well, i am not a huge or crazy mad fan of MJ, but his songs and dancing did really inspire people, i like his songs ^.^ Yup one more thing that i going to emphasize again, this rehearsal concert's movie, MJ just use 70 % energy to practice each songs.(This is what i saw and what i can see,i think he can do better then that.....but he is already 50,even though he can't reach that peak level also is understandable.)

Quiet Your Mind

We all know this frustration, when “it” can mean a tough workday, a recently departed girlfriend or a nerve-wracking upcoming event. Whatever the case, we'll be better off the moment we bring peace to our thoughts.

This is frustrating because it's happening inside of us, within our domain, yet we're faultless in creating it and helpless in preventing it. So why does it happen at all? The answer might be that certain regions of the brain that control the flow of thoughts aren't all they could be.

The following four steps propose a method to quiet your mind of nagging anxiety-producing thoughts using aspects of traditional Buddhist meditation (Samatha and Vipassana), Zen Buddhism, and the practice of mindfulness. But it also owes a huge debt to cognitive behavior therapy and it hints at the neuroplasticity of our brains -- that we can use our minds to physiologically alter the structure of our brain so that, over time, the likelihood of our own thoughts bombarding us again this way becomes less likely.

step 1

Set aside time and space

The first step to quiet your mind is almost universal in the practice of meditation: establishing a time and place to carry it out.

Meditation comes to the uninitiated with a ton of hard-earned credibility; widely regarded as being effective in both psychological and physiological therapies. Thus it insists that you show the process of quieting your mind some respect -- and show yourself that you're serious about it -- by setting aside a little bit of your time and energy so that your effort is sincere.

It's not enough to blow this off until you need it, then decide on the fly, while you're on the commute home from work or laying in bed, to give this a couple spaced-out minutes of your time. You have to make some sort of minor commitment to quieting your mind -- 15 minutes in the darkness of a walk-in closet, for instance.

Clarify your targets

The next step is reminding ourselves of our meditational raison d'etre: to quiet our mind of whatever is bothering us specifically so that we can better achieve whatever we’d rather be doing in the moment -- like an enjoying a weekend or a better night's sleep.

Author and Vipassana meditation teacher Tara Brach calls this "setting your intention,” urging her students and readers to remember a Zen teaching: "the most important thing is remembering the most important thing."

In our case, the full spectrum of mental activity isn't the target, just that poisoned frequency. Go ahead and relax any attempt to hold back even the most vivid and inflammatory thoughts and images related to what's hounding your mind. So think of yourself as preparing for a neurological garage sale, sifting through the mental detritus and separating out that stuff so it's there in the open, looking like a dead duck.

Anchor your concentration

This next step is more of an intermediate step, a training stop on the path to step four. Samatha is a type of Buddhist meditation that promotes focused concentration on a chosen object of observation as a meditative skill to first acquire, then hone. In step three you'll do just that: it could be your own breathing, a constant sound, a word, a syllable, a short sentence. This will be your singular focus as you develop your skills of concentration, and it will be your anchor when you catch yourself stumbling out of focus.

Practice mindfulness

This last step, a deft blend of ancient and modern, requires you to understand the practice of “mindfulness” in a meditation setting. For that, we'll turn it over to the great Theravada monk Nyanaponika: "Mindfulness is the clear and single-minded awareness of what actually happens to us and in us, at the successive moments of perception. It attends just to the bare facts of a perception, without reacting to them, as presented through the five physical senses or the mind."

Mindfulness is a skilled practice that allows you to step outside yourself and perceive those incessant thoughts with the rationale of an outsider. You see them for what they are -- at best, a symptom of stress, and at worst, the product of a neurological glitch that can sometimes overfire. Whatever the case, they fail to incite an emotional response in you, they lose their power over you, and they allow you to dismiss them with all the passion of a shrug.

How to Make Your Client's Logo Bigger Without Making Their Logo Bigger

There is one surefire way to make your client's logo bigger without actually making their logo bigger, but it is reserved for only the most desperate situations. You must have exhausted all other possibilities. Moreover, you must have run out of any patience, respect for your client, and scruples. Here's how it works.

You present the work with the too-small logo, and the client explains that its size must be increased. Don't argue. Instead, listen very carefully, nodding, drawing out detail and nuance. Make it clear that this is a matter of importance and complexity, and the client is right to focus on it. Finally, announce, as if it's just then occurring to you, that there is only one way to get this exactly right, to make sure that the client is absolutely pleased. You will prepare not one, but five options, changing the size of the logo on each one just ever so slightly. In this way, and in this way alone, can a reliable decision be made. Take my word for it: no client will turn down this offer, since the one thing these kind of people like more than arguing about logo sizes is looking at lots of options. Take the work away and promise to return to the next meeting with this exercise ready for review.

Prepare a new presentation with five different logo sizes: big, slightly bigger, slightly bigger again, slightly bigger still again, and biggest. Ideally, the difference between in the sizes should be maddeningly imperceptible. At the next meeting, and with a bit of ceremony, lay them out before the client left to right, smallest to biggest. To enable a robust discussion, the options should be labeled 1 through 5. As you spread them out, say, "We started with the original and changed the size in increments of [insert some small unit of measurement here] so we could get a really good choice." Let the client examine this array. This is a period of intense deliberation, partly because the difference in the sizes is so hard to distinguish. Into the silence that inevitably ensues, with some hesitancy, offer your point of view. "After looking at them all together for a while, we decided that number 5 was really a bit too big, and we were torn between 3 and 4." If the client is polite, they will pretend to care about your opinion for a moment. If not, they won't waste time. Either way, they'll announce that number 5 is the best and that's the one that should be used. Just for the hell of it, at this point you might want to try to make a (no doubt futile) case for number 4. But it doesn't matter: you won.

You may have already guessed how this works.

When you put together the presentation, the logo from the previous meeting—the size you originally showed—is number 5, not number 1, and the options are all incrementally smaller, not incrementally bigger. But notice that you never claim otherwise. You say only that you've "changed the size ever so slightly"—true. You say, as you lay them out, "Here's number one...two's a little bigger...a little bigger again..." etc.—true again! Even your (admittedly cruel and perverse) advocacy for option 4 is based on an unspoken but nonetheless legitimate realization that the logo was actually too big in the first place, not too small. If you are very careful, you never have to lie at all.

Like all con games, this one is based on the illusion that the sucker has the advantage. In this case, it's the conviction that this kind of client always has that it's your job to do as they say. Little do they realize that your final allegiance is not to them, but to the quality of the work, something that you cannot in good conscience permit them to jeopardize with their lack of taste.

Two last things. The key thing is to make sure that no copies of the original presentation are left behind, lest they be produced for comparison's sake at the second presentation. You can usually secure the original by explaining that you need them to create the painstaking variations, and moreover that you can't bear the idea of flawed design work remaining in circulation. Finally, if the worst happens and you actually get caught, just blame the whole thing on a misunderstanding by an intern the client has never met that you will fire as soon as you return to your office.

For the record, I have never actually done this.

Just having fun yesterday, yes 20 October is my birthday, please remember it,hahaha ^^. I always wonder what people will do during his/her 20/21 years old birthday. Well of course, for some people will shot me or make some arguments, that what's so special about this each year birthday celebration thing, as long as u are healthy , rich and happy, birthday celebration is nothing, yes is nothing. (This is what they will say,of course i respect-fully disagree this.haha ^^)

For me is different case, me myself don't need to facing some high blood pressure or heart attack problem, they will save their breath and won't tease me for one day, YES!!ONE DAY ONLY!!I don't know what to say already T.T haha !!

Anyway, i really really appreciate their cakes,presents and blessing,THANKS EVERYONE !! ^^

用「裂縫」來澆灌鮮花

挑水工有兩個水罐，一個完好無缺，一個有一條裂縫。

每天早上，挑水工都拎著兩個水罐去打水，但到家的時候，
有裂縫的水罐通常只剩下一半的水，所以完美的水罐常常嘲笑有裂縫的水罐，
而有裂縫的水罐也因此十分自卑。

終於有一天，在挑水工打水的時候，有裂縫的水罐難過地哭了。

他對挑水工嗚咽道：
「真對不起，因為我的裂縫，每天浪費了您很多時間。」

挑水工聽了說：「不，沒有浪費。不信，你可以看一下回家路上的那些鮮花。」
說完，
挑水工又拎著水罐往回走。

果然，有裂縫的水罐發現，不知何時，自己這邊的小路上開滿了各種鮮花，
而好水罐的那邊卻沒有。

挑水工邊走邊說：「我在你這邊的路上撒下花種，正因為你的裂縫，
才使它們每天都喝到足夠的水，開出了美麗的鮮花。
若不是你，我怎麼可能每天採花，裝飾自己的家園呢？」
有裂縫的水罐聽到這兒，高興地笑了。

他失望地對教練說：「我實在是跳不過去。」

教練問：「你心裡在想什麼？」

他說：「我一衝到起跳線時，看到那個高度，就覺得我跳不過去。」

教練告訴他：
「你一定可以跳過去的。把你的心從竿上撐過去，你的身子就一定會跟著過去。」

他撐起竿又跳了一次，果然一躍而過。

這是一處地勢險惡的峽谷。

湍急的水流奔騰而下，幾根光禿禿的鐵索橫亙在懸崖峭壁間，這就是過河的橋。

有三個人來到橋頭。

一個盲人，一個聾子，一個耳聰目明的健全人。

三個人一個接一個地抓住鐵索，凌空行進。

結果是：盲人、聾子過了橋，那個耳聰目明的人跌了下去，喪了命。

難道耳聰目明的人不如盲人、聾人嗎？
他的弱點恰恰源於耳聰目明。

我眼睛看不見，不知山高橋險，心平氣和地攀索；

This is a true story:--

Perception

..something to think about... Washington, DC Metro Station on a cold January morning in 2007. The man with a violin played six Bach pieces for about 45 minutes. During that time approx. 2 thousand people went through the station, most of them on their way to work. After 3 minutes a middle aged man noticed there was a musician playing. He slowed his pace and stopped for a few seconds and then hurried to meet his schedule.

4 minutes later: the violinist received his first dollar: a woman threw the money in the hat and, without stopping, continued to walk.

6 minutes: A young man leaned against the wall to listen to him, then looked at his watch and started to walk again.

10 minutes: A 3-year old boy stopped but his mother tugged him along hurriedly. The kid stopped to look at the violinist again, but the mother pushed hard and the child continued to walk, turning his head all the time. This action was repeated by several other children. Every parent, without exception, forced their children to move on quickly.

45 minutes:The musician played continuously. Only 6 people stopped and listened for a short while. About 20 gave money but continued to walk at their normal pace. The man collected a total of $32.

1 hour:He finished playing and silence took over. No one noticed. No one applauded, nor was there any recognition..

No one knew this, but the violinist was Joshua Bell, one of the greatest musicians in the world. He played one of the most intricate pieces ever written, with a violin worth $3.5 million dollars. Two days before Joshua Bell sold out a theater in Boston where the seats averaged $100.

This is a true story. Joshua Bell playing incognito in the metro station was organized by the Washington Post as part of a social experiment about perception, taste and people's priorities. The questions raised: in a common place environment at an inappropriate hour, do we perceive beauty? Do we stop to appreciate it? Do we recognize talent in an unexpected context?

One possible conclusion reached from this experiment could be this: If we do not have a moment to stop and listen to one of the best musicians in the world, playing some of the finest music ever written, with one of the most beautiful instruments ever made.... How many other things are we missing?

Aesthetic or Function ??

Now i am going to talk some nonsense crap here....try to brainstorm at here....

Forms follow function.....previous years or century was more emphasize with this kind of thought,we can see this kind of thought apply in some specific movement or design, Bauhaus is really some common yet good example that really show "form follows function, ornament is crime" (Wikipedia) Instead of emphasize on the aesthetic control, people would like to see how functional it is for that particular designs or products. Funcationality is really what people looking for.

BUT.......day by day, due to the development of technology, most of the products or designs that around us did really fulfill people's basic need,which is FUNCTIONALITY. 21st century or maybe later(actually starting from mid or late 19th century ), people will (or already) seek more things instead of what functional or basic requirement,people demand more and they should deserve more (seems like a bit extreme...brainstorm first...),another thing that really need people to think about it is AESTHETIC. Maybe some countries still preserve the quality of functionality comes first(MUJI......yes and again.....).

Hey!!As a human being, we do really need to appreciate what we have that around us, no matter that particular design or product is form follow function or function follow form, we should be grateful for its existence (i guess so....). Why don't we think of this way (just some example though...), if today Adidas (Impossible is Nothing, i like this quote more then Just Do It....) shoes compare with one unknown brand shoes, both of these products share same quality,price and function. BUT.........WHAT IF Adidas do really great job in handle the element of aesthetic or "beauty" compare with another unknown alien shoes??

Today just get this warm up project brief, after have some discussions or sharing ideas,we try to work on one of this ideas.(still another one have to work on it....later still need to brainstorm it by.....writing blog....what the......) After writing this article, just try to clear my mind, so that i can know what should i research, how about the visuals and designs can be applied. Can sketch up few more things...by the way, this article is full of flaw, don't take it too personal or "extreme",i still have a lot of things that in my mind and haven't write it out,at least my mind is clear now...... WORK ON IT,WORK ON IT!!!GAMBATEH!!

很多事情并不需要想的那么复杂，如果你真的有在专心聆听，仔细感受，你就会明白事情会简单许多。到了最后，竟然将所有的问题推在别人身上，这是很不应该的。要永远记得，当出现感情纠纷时，不要以为那永远都只是对方的责任，双方都应该好好反省并且改进。

This month…no….actually is this year, cause all of us I mean (people who born in 1988)….is their 21^st years old, I need to prepare those presents or gifts to my old friends in hometown or some college friends. Actually not only 21^st years old while they are having their 20 years old birthday, I also did buy some presents for them. What I can sing now is: “Keep bleeding, keep keep bleeding, Keep bleeding, keep keep bleeding”…….my wallet is really keep bleeding, ha~ha~ha~ha~ TvT…….anyway…don’t care!!!Since is just one year and for once, of course need to buy for them, 20 and 21^st years old are so so so important to people. I think they are just going turn to mature, and it’s also mean a lot to them.

Don't know why i just think that 20 and 21 years old have some special meaning and feeling to me.

GOD!!!When can I get back my PC??? I miss all my songs that inside my hard disk, staying at my friends’ condo now and listening to their songs, make me keep on think about all my songs only, isk !isk! College is going to start soon, I just can do nothing but have to wait, listen songs while I am reading is my life, it’s just like taking my breath and life away, haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!!!!! September's Busy-ness part 2 ^.^

When mentioned about Birthday baby, last month was my friend Hsien Wen’s birthday, his GF Adeline, did invite me whether can dinner together or not on his birthday……erm….since I am working as intern, and I am working at Sunway Pyramid area there, when I come back it takes a lot of time, so I don’t hope that let my bunch of friends to wait for me and just for dinner, so I have to reject her offer, after I came my from my working place, John (Hsien Wen’s housemate) called me again and asked for birthday dinner, and again…..thanks but no, cause can’t make it on time. So during this month, I have to buy him this dinner again, is at Cineleisure Lan Kuai Fong (Adeline called it Lan Dei Fong (bad place) quite true though….) So I am having dinner with Hsien Wen, Adeline, Yeow Loong, John and Mike them at there. Actually that place’s food taste just normal only, not really that great but also not that bad. OK, enough about commenting those foods or restaurants things.

After having the dinner, me, Hsien Wen and Adeline decided to go One Utama watch movie (actually I am the one who keep on suggest them to watch movie.) John, Yeow Loong and Mike they go back first, cause they don’t want to watch movie. Before go to cinema there, I also wonder that is September got no more nice movies that can let people watch? As Adeline ,John and Hsien Wen they just can remember what Gamer, Where Got Ghost and G-Force, either is they watch already or some of us not interested with it. So we just go to 1 U and check it out….LUCKILY!!!still have some funny movies that can let us watch, I been to Apple Trailer there watch some funny movies’ trailers, “The Ugly Truth”, “Imagine That” and “I Love You, Beth Cooper”. We decided to watch “The Ugly Truth” (watch other funny movies next time, haha!!) Whole movie all of us, especially me really enjoy this movie, cause it very funny, we laugh like no one others seems like whole cinema is booked by us…..BUT……this movie is really not recommend to those people who are really “pure minded”, cause is a bit…..is just…..not really appropriate. Think twice if you really want to watch it.

Talk about movie, Michael Jackson’s last concert will come out as some documentary and musical movie’s form, the movie name is “This is it”, go and check it out if you really like it(actually he going to do this last concert and perform to whole world, sadly he can’t make it, he passed away before he open this concert, because of this concert he put a lot of effort and keep on practicing non-stop. So director decided to make this concert into movie.) I am not really some Michael Jackson crazy stalker’s fan or dying in love with him, not interested with his own personal life, appreciate what he contribute to this world, no matter in music’s world or medical health care charity, he really did something and contribute something good to people who live in this world. I like his songs, he deserved the name of King of Pop, he as a pioneer of Pop’s songs, he really influenced people about the whole “Pop” concept things.

September's Busy-ness part 1 ^.^

Soon we going to start our course again, can’t meet my family members and old friends for a while. (Which mean going to be a bad son again, isk! isk!) As I mentioned in the previous blog, I need to do a lot of things during September.

First of all, it would be Amanda’s Birthday and Farewell’s celebration. (It is not a “new” thing to let people know, I think a lot of people already visit Heidy’s blog and she always been a good story teller or writer to every article that she posted.) Since all of us (I mean majority would be GD classmates) know that Amanda is going to UK, so all of us decided and agreed that will organized some celebration for her. I am the one who stay at BU (I think One Utama can consider my neighbor.) and I am kind of free, so decided to go 1 U earlier to read some books, just head to Popular and choose Angels and Demons (Chinese Version) novel as my spare time friend. (Already read the English Version’s Angels and Demons) If I didn’t get wrong, I think i take 6-8 hours to finish that book. Really enjoy it, cause it’s FOC (purposely ask those stuffs to help me open this book), sometimes some books really not necessary need to buy it, if you are free just take your time to read it on the spot. Forget to tell something, Dan Brown (author of “Da Vinci Code” and “Angels and Demons”) comes out with his new book “The Lost Symbol” on 15^th Sept, do go and check it out. (Can read some new free book again, love it, hoho ^0^) After finish my reading session, I also go to BBQ Plaza to meet my bunch of friends and have our dinner at there. Really appreciate that moment ^.^

Then, this month is my old friend and my cousin’s 21^st years old birthday. I already participate my old friend’s party, I hope that “precious” experience will just happen once in my life, please don’t let that incident fall to me again, of course if next time those clients insist me go there again, I cannot do anything but have to go there again. Honestly, I enjoy this first, new, fresh experience, but if I really can choose I hope I wouldn’t go there again. For once is more than enough. By the way, some little wine or alcohol is really fine, as it is very healthy to human body. I am not some people who can drink a lot, but if it really comes to me, I will take some and drinks, hehe ^v^ (Lounge Bar Yeah!!)

This blog been dead for thousand years already, as me myself is very lazy to update while I am working (internship). A lot of my friends still can commit their time in their own blog. (Moreover, they are also work in the same position with me.) So reading my friends’ blog also became part of my entertainments. (Cannot consider as entertainment though, because when they are sharing or express their bad mood, it also make me worries them only….)

When all of us having holiday, a lot of friends already decided that will go take intern immediately. I am the one who wants to go back my hometown first to……how to say…..shall I say “serve”?? Help my parents to do their home stuffs, try to be a good son again. Of course I have a lot of benefits while I stayed at my hometown, such as mum’s delicious dishes, read more old and new newspaper (I am very outdated...). Some of my secondary school friends also keep on complains to me that why I didn’t go out find them yum cha or like once and a while should go back enjoy some…..family love or friendship love…which mean GATHERING!!So I also cannot say anything when they are trying to tell me all these lessons or advices, and I listen to them I did go back.

So since I did enjoy my holiday for more than 1 month, during my vacation month I did download some movies, watch tutorials, practice my skills, FB. Hehe ^.^ but I didn’t blogging,hohoho,pai seh !! But still after enjoy my holiday I have to start my internship. This intern experience kind of…..normal….I thought they still can offer me something which is very interesting and new and let me learn….who knows…..haiz……

After work for 1 month, I decided to finish my intern. As everyday is working with same regular things, and I have a lot of personal things need to do and arrange, so have to finish it earlier. Of course I have to appreciate what they can offer me, those customers that they deal with, it still makes me learn something. Thanks to them and thanks to myself who decide to finish my intern earlier.hehe ^.^

身边不乏巨蟹的朋友，亲人。。。。今天还是我大侄女的生日呢，做叔叔的也没买什么给她，算了。。。。。也不知为何绝大多数让我遇上的人不是巨蟹座不然就是处女座的人，在这两个星座徘徊中的我，不知不觉中让我学会了精神分身术。因为两边是完全不同世界的人。并不是以网上或书上的理论来写出这些东西，而是凭着多年来的交往。。。。。让我体会到也学到两个不同世界的观点。在我中学时期的朋友，我发觉他们是很难共处的，意思是巨蟹座与处女座是很难达到共鸣。所以，在出来聊天，谈心时。。。。。我必须安排他们在不同的时间，地点，场合。如果硬是要坐在一起，难免会发生一些鸡同鸭讲的情况，或者是我只能兼顾一方，而勿略彼方，造成一边的人必须沉默。

昨天闲来无事，就稍微在One U闲逛了一下(其实还是有事情做的，必须买Tranformer得票，在今晚和我哥两个大男人一起看这出戏，一点情调都没有。。。。真是。。。。而且还要等上映这么久才来看，有一点点落后的感觉。。。。算了。。。)

在去买票之前，自己一个人享受了一顿 "豪华" 的早中餐，就是New Wing 的LG Floor,那里的美食地带，全名我不记得了，好像是 "New York 什么什么的"，不管了。。。。。。一句话，好贵。。。。。。。。。。。。贵到鬼样。。。。。。。。食物的味道呢。。。。。(本人向来不会诸多挑剔，只要里面没有虾，螃蟹之类的东西，我都无所谓。)

吃完了，就去买票，可是又不愿意这样早回家。。。所以在大众书局坐了半天，才读完一本书，书名是"别问为什么"，其中书里的内容不乏一些一样的内容，不外是乐观，积极面对这个现实的世界，冷静。。。。。等等的。不过，总算读到一些章节，是比较新鲜的，固中内容我也不必提了，我如果没把里面的内容一字一句完全写出来，可是会发生差之毫厘，谬以千里的情况，还是不提为妙，虽然我明白他在说什么。

由于时候不早，所以只来得及看完一本书，过后我就速速买了KFC,然后回家。

When you wake up to the sound of your alarm and prepare to face another day on the job, do you dread the idea, feel good about it or are you somewhere in between? If you crawl into a fetal position and pray for an excuse to stay home, you may have a problem with job security.

For the most part, we know deep down inside when our time is up. You can deny, deny, deny, but if you were smart enough to get the job in the first place, you should be able to spot a potential pink slip headed in your direction. We have nine signs you're about to get fired here, and if you recognize one, you could be on the street soon. Just hope you read the sign in time to reverse your fate.

1- No longer part of the loop
You used to be in on the latest scoop, whether it was corporate or social in nature. When Jason down the hall had an affair with the new administrative assistant, you were one of the first to hear about it. Now the water cooler or cappuccino machine is deserted when you approach.

Because of your position within the company, you should have access to crucial financial information. That used to be the case. Last year you knew about a pessimistic sales forecast from executive management before most did. But things have changed, and you have reason to be concerned about potential cuts. Now you seldom communicate with executive management, except to offer a lame compliment or make an effort at pleasant banter. If you're no longer in the loop, it may be because you're about to get fired.

2- You have been told to "take a vacation"
There is no way to put a positive spin on the phrase. The implication is that you have not lived up to your job description and have become expendable. 3- You need an attitude adjustment
On more than one occasion, the suggestion has been made that you could use a personality transplant. You thought the comment was a joke but you have begun to notice how people recoil when you open your mouth.

For some reason, you either insert your foot into your mouth or say the first thing on your mind. Your best friend or brother may appreciate your lack of tact but at work, the stunt has yet to fly. In fact, your ship is about to sink unless you apply for a sensitivity seminar fast.

4- You made a major mistake
This is the real world, not a cartoon. When Homer Simpson is accountable for the meltdown of the nuclear power plant, Mr. Burns does not can him. The incident is somehow comical. The hilarity of television however, does not translate into your career.

Incompetence may be rewarded in the world of Dilbert , but when you screw up, you could lose your job. No matter what you do, you fail to win support or positive feedback from management. Your relationship with the MBA is icy and his rapport with the team is weak. Your VP, however, is in love with him. Not good. That ring you hear in the background could be your death knell.

6- Bad fit with corporate culture
Some firms are famous or infamous for their corporate culture. When you were hired, you were elated to have a job and forgot to distinguish between the two. The human resources manager asked whether your personality fit with the corporate culture and you glazed over and faked a response.

Now you realize that, with the entire department and company, you stand out like a nun at a rave. You knew you were an individual at heart who was averse and paranoid about group indoctrination. When a corporate slogan is shouted at a conference, you cringe. You were "sick" for the team retreat and refuse to engage in shameless promotion of your company. Bad sign for you.

7- Your company is on CNBC
A good sign under normal circumstances, but we live in the era of monumental corporate collapse. If you hear a layoff rumor or hint of a financial indiscretion on the part of executive management, run for your life. Where there is smoke, there is fire.

The same advice is germane in the event of a takeover, corporate merger or personnel shuffle. You could get lost in it and find yourself without a job.

8- New management
In the same vein is a change at the top. You may have been a star before but now the slate is clean. New management has been given a directive to shake it up and stir the pot. Like a new football coach to guide a dormant team to the Super Bowl, they want to wake up the talent and trim the fat. Where do you factor in?

9- Bad review & boss has an eye on you
Taken another way, a review could be a positive step in your career development. Not when the focus is negative however. From your boss' breath on your neck to the regular scrutiny, his attention is unwanted. You can sense that your future in the company is being evaluated and there is no escape. The fact of the matter is that if you were a prized commodity, you would never be put under the microscope.

Worse yet is a negative review, for the sheer permanence factor alone. A formal corporate review process is the one chance you have to quantify your hard effort and overtime. Or lack thereof. You will reap what you sow and a chicken will come home to roost. You get the point. The chaff has to be separated from the wheat in business. Improve your performance and become an asset to your firm now.
